The objective of the Office of Healthcare Compliance and Privacy (OHCP) is to safeguard public trust by empowering our UCSF community to uphold the highest legal and ethical standards related to healthcare business integrity and privacy protection. We accomplish this by:
- Promoting decision-making consistent with UC’s organizational values and the Codes of Conduct
- Establishing policies and standards
- Providing education and outreach
- Analyzing and mitigating compliance and privacy risks
- Investigating and resolving issues of potential non-compliance
